Angel Chang
Graduated from the Department of Physical Education and Sports Management at Chinese Culture University in Taipei, Angel has over 13 years of teaching experience in various fields such as after-school tutoring, swimming, mindfulness meditation, and Chinese language instruction. Through her journey of teaching, she has continuously explored and learned which earned her certification as a Naturopathic Practitioner and Yoga Instructor. With her teaching background in various fields, it allows her to guide student growth's from diverse perspectives. Angel believes that every student has unique potentials and as a teacher, her mission is to inspire their abilities and help them find joy and a sense of achievement in learning.

Jade Chang
Jade was born and raised in Las Vegas, NV. She is fluent in Mandarin having studied in Taiwan. For the past six years, she has served as a Mandarin translator at numerous Las Vegas conventions and shows. Jade has also taught Mandarin at Las Vegas Tzu Chi Chinese Academy and tutored students of varying ages. As a kid that has grown up in the U.S. that has learned Chinese, she sees the importance and significance of learning Mandarin which benefitted her not only in her life but also with her work. She

Chang Yuan Sifu
Shi Chang Yuan is a 35th generation shaolin master from the Song Shan Shaolin Temple in the Henan Province of China, he studied under the guidance of Master Shi Guo Song. He has performed and taught internationally with more than 10 years of teaching experience. He has a gift for teaching, he is inspirational, patient, nurturing and very knowledgeable. Shifu Chang Yuan believes that practicing Shaolin Kung Fu is a way to find balance between physical and emotional peace. Martial arts is not a way to make enemies but to spread compassion and help other people.

Antony Chen
Graduate of Stevens Institute of Technology with a Masters in Computer Science in 1996, Antony is an experienced programmer, analyst, project manager, and technical director. He has worked for many well-known companies in the U.S. and in Taiwan such as AT&T, IBM, Macrosoft Consulting Firm, and LeaLea Technology Co. etc. He is an experienced educator, having taught at numerous seminars, conferences, and webinars hosted by Dell Technologies. Antony was guest speaker at a seminar held by Taiwan's Dept of Education and has taught teachers at universities in Taiwan on incorporating AI technology in the classroom.

Phelicia DeRosier
Phelicia is a mother of three and an experienced homeschool educator, co-op teacher, substitute teacher, and tutor with extensive background in composition, literature, history, economics, civics, logic, critical thinking and public speaking. She is a former ESL tutor assisting children overseas in their grasp of conversational English.. As an experienced public speaker, radio talk show host, and Distinguished Toastmaster with Toastmasters International, Phelicia has a deep passion for helping young people develop their critical thinking skills and learn to effectively communicate their unique perspectives in both written and oral discourse to impact their world for the better.
Music Teacher
Kasey Green
Born in San Jose, CA and raised in Las Vegas, Kasey started guzheng at the age of six, followed by piano, pipa, violin, and Chinese percussion. As a member of the Li Lin Hong Chinese Music Ensemble since 2009, she has participated and performed in numerous cultural, educational, and community events. Since 2010, she has won multiple competitions both nationally and internationally in guzheng, pipa, and Chinese drums. In 2017, she had the honor of joining her violin mentor, Dr Linda Rodgers and Symphony Irvine in performing Carl Orff's Carmina Burana in Carnegie Hall. Kasey started as a teaching assistant at the Tzu Chi Academy's Chinese music class and the Foundation to Assist Young Musicians' violin classes. She later started a violin class at Tzu Chi Academy, before becoming the violin teacher and Music Director at Brilliant Child Christian Academy. She looks forward to continuing her musical journey by expanding her skills and knowledge and sharing her love of music and culture with others.

Tiffany Koo
Born and raised in Las Vegas, NV, Tiffany has many years of teaching experience. She has taught at Cram School in Taiwan, Las Vegas Chinese School and Tzu Chi Chinese Academy. She has tutored numerous students privately in a variety of subjects, including, Mandarin, English, Math, ESL, Etc.... Tiffany is registered under the State of Nevada Registry for Education, a certified phlebotomist, an experienced Medical Assistant as well as an excellent translator at numerous Las Vegas conventions & shows.

Shelby Little
Shelby was born and raised in Las Vegas, NV. She learn a little bit of sign language when she was in elementary school. She went on to minor in Deaf Studies at Nevada State College (now Nevada State University). She fell in love with ASL and Deaf culture at her time in school, and now wants to share that with others.

Ulises Ramirez
Ulises has been a successful Software Engineer, has developed numerous software in the past 22 years. In college he served as president and vice-president of engineering organizations and helped mentor young peers and elementary students. He is skilled in programming languages such as C#, Python, C++, C, Java, JavaScript, Ruby, Swift, ColdFusion and PHP to name a few. He has successfully created apps for Android and iOS as well as Windows and Linux. He currently works as a 'GIS DevOps Specialist'.

Rita Recabarren
Rita is an educator at STAR Focus Center. She graduated from Ming Chuan University(Taiwan) and University of Nevada Las Vegas. She has been in the educational profession for the past eight years, has worked with 1st to 4th graders at a private school, and currently teaches Mandarin at a Chinese school and a math tutor for middle schoolers.
